We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a full-time Visitor Centre Manager.
The person we are looking for must be an enthusiastic, self motivated individual who is passionate about customer service and developing a world class visitor experience. The successful candidate will be organised, customer focused, welcoming in their nature and flexible in their attitude to the role. A hands on approach and the ability to work within a small team is essential. We are looking for someone who is service orientated with a commercial awareness. A knowledge of whisky and the various processes would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given.
Duties will include
Managing the day to day activities of the visitor centre, café and staff.
Leading distillery tours, tutored tastings, hosting visitors and guests of the distillery.
The job involves handling cash or processing card payments and you will be responsible for keeping accurate records, including end of day closings.
Setting up of special events in conjunction with our Sales and Marketing Managers.
Managing the visitors diary.
Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the visitor centre, café, staff and further develop the Kilchoman whisky experience.
You will be expected to work flexibly within the visitor centre team which means that weekend work will be required.
